La Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF), sous la direction de son Président, le Dr Patrice Motsepe, a annoncé son retour à la rentabilité, après plusieurs années de déficits financiers. Cette performance marque une étape majeure dans la stratégie de redressement mise en place depuis 2021.
Cette annonce a été faite lors de la 47e Assemblée Générale Ordinaire de la CAF, tenue le lundi 6 octobre 2025 à Kinshasa, en République Démocratique du Congo.
Pour l’exercice financier 2023–2024, la CAF a enregistré un bénéfice net de 9,48 millions de dollars américains, marquant ainsi son premier excédent depuis plusieurs années. Cette réussite s’explique par une forte augmentation des revenus commerciaux, portée par l’attrait croissant du football africain à l’échelle mondiale, l’arrivée de nouveaux sponsors, ainsi que la mise en œuvre de contrôles financiers rigoureux sous la direction du Président Motsepe.
