Un geste de reconnaissance fort a marqué le quartier Yattayah, ce jeudi matin. Thierno Ousmane Cellico Sow, connu sous le nom de Karamoko, a choisi de donner le nom de son dernier fils au Président de la République, le Général Mamadi Doumbouya.

Selon lui, cette décision traduit son admiration pour les actions initiées par le Chef de l’État en faveur du développement de la Guinée, mais aussi pour son esprit rassembleur qui unit les Guinéens au-delà des clivages politiques.

« Je n’ai jamais adhéré à un parti politique ni soutenu un opposant, mais ce que le Général Mamadi Doumbouya fait pour la Guinée mérite d’être encouragé par tous les fils et filles du pays… », a-t-il déclaré.

Pour saluer ce geste, le groupe traditionnel Djere Foutah s’est rendu tôt le matin au domicile de Karamoko Thierno Ousmane Sow. L’ensemble a animé la cérémonie avec chants et danses pendant plus de trente minutes, créant une ambiance festive.

La rencontre s’est achevée par des bénédictions formulées par Thierno Ousmane Sow, à la fois pour le groupe Djere Foutah et pour le Président de la République, afin qu’il poursuive sa mission dans la paix et la quiétude sociale.
