Après avoir visionné tous les films inscrits à la compétition officielle « Longs metrages », à l’unanimité pour sa qualité esthétique adaptéé au récit fimique qui en interroge la société de manière poétique sur des pratiques culturelles et l’espoir que degage le personnage principal du film, le jury Critique Africain à cette 24ème édition du Festival International du Cinéma Africain de Khouribgadescerne le Prix de la Critique Paulin SoumanouVieyra au film The Bride de la réalisatriseMyriam Birara du Rwanda.
