Des informations trompeuses et fausses sont diffusรฉes pour susciter le doute face aux questions environnementales, ร  leur impact et ร  leur urgence, sapant ainsi les efforts internationaux pour y remรฉdier.

Face aux enjeux et dรฉfis qui se posent ร  certains organes de presse actuellement, il est important de tirer ensemble les leรงons. Les mรฉdias doivent travailler avec plus de responsabilitรฉ pour รฉviter les dรฉparages. A propos, j’appelle ร  la prise de conscience et ร  lโ€™engagement des acteurs des organisations et associations de presse ร  mettre en place un organe dโ€™auto-rรฉgulation. La mise en place de ce type de mรฉcanisme permettra sans nul doute un rรจglement pacifique et constructif d’รฉventuels conflits.
